EV Connect at Volare Hotel in San Clemente, CA

I only know of one EV Connect DCFC station in the area and it's in San Clemente. I was able to charge there on New Year's, but it's not fast and it's inside the hotel parking structure. It's not clear if it's only intended for hotel guests. If there's a sign saying that, I didn't see it.

So, only a minimal presence from this network here.

They are expanding, they are in a lot of Freewire stalls in petro stations. They seem more focused on the payment backend. They do have some branded units but dont seem as common usually Tritium and "unbranded or localised" looking hardware from various mfg.

Yes, they are taking more of the ChargePoint model, and indeed are showing up at a lot of car dealerships.

And a few of the other CPOs are using a re-branded version of their app/backend.

But difference is ChargePoint makes their own hardware. While EV Connect ive seen on Tritium, ABB, btcpower and freewire dispensers.
