A PlugShare user (@ttwsyf69 on Twitter) pointed me to the Volkswagen Mitigation Trust website which has reports with updates on New Mexico's VW settlement funds. Most of the DC EV charger related funds were snapped up by Francis Energy almost 4 years ago in April 2020. There has been little progress to date on their future chargers in New Mexico. Under a third have been energized.
The 2023 Semi-Annual Report shows that several projects in Southeast NM have been cancelled along with a few proposed locations on I-40 that duplicated EA stations. I've been having a hard time getting PlugShare to delete those listings. Perhaps if some forum members report the stations as well, PlugShare will finally delete the listings.
PlugShare has yet to delete the Tatum, Grants, and Gallup Francis station listings.
Screenshots of the PDF report are below so you don't have to download the PDF. Noticeably missing from the report is any mention of the Francis chargers in Truchas, NM.
